Forget margin or options. Here's how the pros trade LEU

Sean Milligan has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors including stronger profitability and a more confident outlook. Centrus delivered earnings and gross profit that were well ahead of market expectations, even though sales slightly lagged and margins narrowed as the mix shifted toward HALEU. Management also increased its full-year revenue guidance, signaling improved visibility and demand.

The company’s backlog remains substantial at roughly $3.9B, with previously conditional LEU contracts now converted into firm commitments, which enhances revenue certainty. While there are still uncertainties around cost trajectory, timing, and pricing at the Piketon facility, Milligan sees forthcoming NNSA contract decisions and potential DOE funding as important upside catalysts, supporting his constructive stance despite trimming the price target to $314.

In another report released today, Stifel Nicolaus also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $246.00 price target.
