Musk: xAI No Longer Exists as an Independent Company, to Be Renamed SpaceXAI

In a post on X, Musk stated that xAI will no longer exist as an independent company and will be renamed SpaceXAI, representing the AI products of SpaceX.

Musk's remarks were in response to a post by Tesla investor @SawyerMerritt concerning the agreement signed between SpaceX and Anthropic.

According to a previous article by Wallstreetcn, Anthropic will gain access to over 300 megawatts of computing power from SpaceX's "Colossus 1" large-scale data center. Meanwhile, Anthropic stated that it has "expressed interest in collaborating with SpaceX to develop several gigawatts of orbital AI computing capacity."
