In terms of constituent stocks, as of the time of publication, KUAISHOU-W (01024) rose 5.2% to HKD 47.34; Baidu Group-SW (09888) rose 4.86% to HKD 138; Alibaba-W (09988) rose 3.95% to HKD 139.5; JD Group-SW (09618) rose 2.84% to HKD 119.7. On the news front, with increasing expectations for US-Iran talks, the risk premium for crude oil has significantly retreated. Brent crude oil futures closed down 7.83% on the 6th, at USD 101.27 per barrel, having briefly fallen below USD 100 during the session, marking the first time since April 22. On May 6 local time, US President Trump stated that the US and Iran had engaged in "very productive" dialogue in the past 24 hours and that it is "very likely" that an agreement will ultimately be reached. Trump mentioned that it is "extremely likely" that an agreement will be reached with Iran after the latest round of talks, stating that an agreement will eventually be achieved but no deadline will be set. Guosheng Securities pointed out that after the earnings reports of Google and Meta, the firm believes that the market is demanding stricter requirements from AI internet companies—there must be returns and verifiable AI investments, and the conversion rate of AI revenue may become a more important pricing factor than the scale of Capex. Back to the Hong Kong stock market, the firm is optimistic about Alibaba, believing that Alibaba's full-stack layout in AI is most comparable to Google, with cloud growth in Q1 26 expected to continue accelerating, continuously validating investment returns.
