Agronomics ( (GB:ANIC) ) has shared an update.

Agronomics’ portfolio company Good Dog Food, trading as Meatly, has closed a £10.4 million Series A round led by climate and consumer-focused investors, lifting its total funding to £17.5 million. Meatly, which develops cultivated meat for pet food and was the first to sell such products in Europe, has rapidly cut key production costs by engineering its own culture medium and bioreactors.

The new capital will finance a 20,000-litre bioreactor facility in London, expected to be Europe’s largest cultivated pet food site, with fit-out starting immediately and launches targeted for 2027. For Agronomics, which holds an 11.57% fully diluted stake valued at £3.2 million, the expansion underscores its bet that cost-efficient cultivated protein can build a more resilient and sustainable supply chain in the UK and Europe, potentially strengthening its position in the fast-growing clean food market.

Spark’s Take on ANIC Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ANIC is a Neutral.

The score is weighed down primarily by weak financial performance (recent losses and persistently negative cash flow), with technicals also bearish (price below key moving averages and negative MACD). Valuation is additionally constrained by a negative P/E driven by losses and no dividend data to offset risk; the main positive is the debt-free balance sheet, though equity has been eroding.
