The product features a screenless design and deeply integrates the AI health assistant "Google Health Assistant" built on the Gemini model, further enhancing its presence in the AI wearable device market. Google stated that Fitbit Air is currently the smallest Fitbit health tracker, featuring a detachable design similar to a "small pebble" and equipped with high-precision sensors for all-day health monitoring. The device supports 24-hour heart rate monitoring, arrhythmia detection and atrial fibrillation alerts, blood oxygen saturation detection, resting heart rate, heart rate variability analysis, as well as tracking sleep stages and duration. In terms of battery life, Fitbit Air can last up to about a week, and its fast charging feature can provide a day's worth of power in just 5 minutes. Users can also change to different colored straps. Fitbit Air supports both Android and iOS systems and is currently available for pre-order, with a complimentary three-month Google Health membership subscription, allowing users to directly use the Google Health Assistant. Meanwhile, the special edition of Fitbit Air is priced at $129.99 and will officially launch in the United States on May 26, with matching straps starting at $34.99. Google stated that the Google Health Assistant, built on the Gemini AI model, can provide personalized health analysis and serve as a fitness coach, sleep expert, and health consultant. This service was previously in the testing phase and will be officially available globally starting May 19. As AI gradually enters the consumer electronics field, health wearable devices are becoming a new competitive focus for tech giants. Currently, the Apple Watch Series 11, a product of Apple (AAPL.US), remains one of the main competitive products in the market, featuring a screen and supporting functions such as high blood pressure alerts, sleep scoring, ECG detection, and atrial fibrillation recognition. However, compared to the complex functions of smartwatches, Google's newly launched Fitbit Air emphasizes a lightweight design, long battery life, and AI-driven health management experience ### Related Stocks - [GOOG.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/GOOG.US.md) - [GGLL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/GGLL.US.md) - [GGLS.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/GGLS.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Google’s $9.99-per-month AI health coach launches May 19](https://longbridge.com/en/news/285580877.md) - [Google plans to let software engineers use AI assistants in job interviews](https://longbridge.com/en/news/285594942.md) - [Why Klarna's CMO built an AI replica of himself for employees to vent at](https://longbridge.com/en/news/285368951.md) - [Google Tests New AI Agent To Take On OpenClaw With Advanced Task Automation: Report](https://longbridge.com/en/news/285353217.md) - [Yahoo says its AI assistant has a secret weapon in the new search wars](https://longbridge.com/en/news/285370251.md)
