# Strategy Considers Bitcoin Sale to Fund Dividends

Samson Mow has supported Michael Saylor's proposal for Strategy to potentially sell a portion of its 818,334 BTC treasury to maintain corporate flexibility. According to NS3.AI, during Strategy's first-quarter earnings call, Saylor mentioned that the company might sell some Bitcoin to finance a dividend. He noted that Strategy could sustain dividends solely through Bitcoin if its value increases by over 2.3% annually.
