# ST Engineering lands $100m smart mobility contracts in Middle East

**Maintenance works for Qatar's Road Management Centre began in the first quarter.**

ST Engineering has secured two smart mobility projects in the Middle East with a combined value exceeding $100m.

In a statement, the deals cover intelligent transport system maintenance in Qatar and deployment of its GoParkin smart parking solution in Jordan.

ST Engineering Urban Solutions was appointed as the preferred partner of EGIS QBC JV to support operations of Qatar’s national intelligent transport system under a three-year contract that began in the first quarter of the year.

The company will provide end-to-end maintenance for the Road Management Centre of Ashghal, the country’s Public Works Authority.

Works include system upkeep and technology upgrades for traffic management and tunnel operations across the country’s road network.

In Jordan, the group will deploy its GoParkin smart parking system at King Hussein Business Park, with implementation set to begin in the third quarter of 2026.

The system will integrate automatic number plate recognition, electric vehicle charging, and multimodal payment capabilities on a single platform.
