# Secured Finance Joins Tokenized Japanese Government Bonds Initiative

Decentralized lending protocol Secured Finance has joined the 'Tokenized Japanese Government Bonds On-Chain Repo Working Group' initiated by Progmat. According to Foresight News, the working group will focus on the on-chain management of tokenized JGB rights and explore how tokenized JGBs, stablecoin cash endpoints, and lending protocol infrastructure can support on-chain repo transactions for Japanese institutional investors. The group will examine legal, accounting, tax, operational, and technical aspects related to tokenized Japanese government bonds and on-chain repo transactions. The working group plans to commence in May 2026 and aims to release a report by October 2026.
