# Non-farm payrolls better than expected, U.S. stocks open higher

Storage concept stocks strengthened, with Micron Technology (MU.O) rising 5.5% and Sandisk (SNDK.O) rising 4.5%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose 1.1%, with Baidu (BIDU.O) up 6%
