# Concord New Energy April power output falls 5.3%

**Wind and solar generation both declined YoY.**

Concord New Energy Group’s attributable power generation output fell 5.28% YoY to 767.11 gigawatt-hour (GWh) in April 2026, from 809.84 GWh a year earlier.

Wind power remained the group’s largest contributor, but output declined 4.27% to 678.23 GWh from 708.46 GWh in April 2025.

Solar power output fell more sharply, dropping 12.33% YoY to 88.88 GWh, from 101.38 GWh.

For the first four months of 2026, total attributable power generation stood at 3,197.15 GWh, down 4.01% from 3,330.69 GWh in the same period last year.

Wind generation for January to April declined 3.21% to 2,856.29 GWh, whilst solar generation fell 10.19% to 340.86 GWh.
