# CoreWeave Insider Dumps $370 Million in Stock After Brutal Sell-off

CoreWeave drew fresh attention from investors after one of its largest shareholders sold a large block of stock, adding to a wave of insider selling in the AI cloud company.

CoreWeave is already under pressure from a sharp post-earnings drop, and the latest trades may deepen concerns around sentiment.

Magnetar Financial LLC, which owns more than 10% of CoreWeave, sold about 2.7 million shares on May 8 in four transactions. The shares were sold at prices between $129 and $139, bringing the total proceeds to about $370.5 million.

The CoreWeave sale came as insider activity around the stock stayed negative. Over the past three months, company insiders have reported informative sales worth nearly $1.9 billion, a level that suggests many of the company's closest holders have been reducing exposure during the stock's AI-driven rally.

CoreWeave shares had already fallen more than 11% after the company's latest quarterly report. For investors, the insider selling may now be the bigger signal to watch than the earnings reaction itself.
