# Zimmer Biomet Raises Fiscal 2026 Share Repurchase Target to $1 Billion

07:14 AM EDT, 05/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Zimmer Biomet ( ZBH ) said Tuesday it now expects to repurchase up to $1 billion of its stock during fiscal year 2026, increasing its prior target by $250 million.

The company said it will execute the buybacks under its existing $1.5 billion share repurchase authorization, which its board approved in February 2026.

Zimmer Biomet ( ZBH ) did not change the size, duration or terms of the authorization, the company said.

Zimmer Biomet ( ZBH ) said it may repurchase shares through open-market purchases or structured repurchase agreements with third parties.
