# Movement Completes Acquisition of Canopy to Enhance Network Infrastructure

Movement has announced the completion of its acquisition of Canopy, integrating its Vault infrastructure into Movement's core technology stack. According to Odaily, the financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed. Canopy, which operates on the Movement Network, provides Vault layer infrastructure that enables users to manage asset allocation and yield strategies on-chain with independent strategy managers. It works in conjunction with the on-chain credit protocol MovePosition, forming a key component of the network's financial infrastructure. Following the acquisition, Movement will directly own and maintain Canopy's smart contracts and technology systems, facilitating deeper integration between the Vault layer and credit protocol modules to enhance coordination efficiency and system consistency.
