# INVESTECH HLDGS offers a 15% discount to place a maximum of 39.98 million new shares, raising HKD 26.8 million

According to a report from Economic Information Agency on the 14th, INVESTECH HLDGS (01087) announced that it has entered into a placement agreement with the placement agent to issue up to 39.9776 million new shares at a price of HKD 0.67 per share, raising a maximum of HKD 26.8 million.

The group stated that the price per share represents a discount of approximately 15.19% compared to yesterday's closing price of HKD 0.79, with the new shares accounting for about 16.67% of the enlarged share capital. The placement will be made to no fewer than six independent subscribers, and it is expected that none of the subscribers will become a major shareholder. The net proceeds from the placement are intended to be used for repaying outstanding commercial paper and bank and other borrowings, with the remaining 10% allocated for general working capital.
