# Oracle's AI Infrastructure Bet Gains Support

Oracle (ORCL, Financials) is getting fresh support from Wedbush as investors debate whether the company's heavy AI spending is a risk or a long-term advantage.

Wedbush said Oracle is building a stronger position for the next phase of the AI cycle, where infrastructure, performance and data access are becoming more important.

The firm argued that investors may be too focused on Oracle's high capital spending. In Wedbush's view, that spending is not speculative because it is supported by visible demand and long-term customer commitments.

Oracle's capex-to-remaining performance obligation ratio is about 9%, compared with a peer average of 33.6%. That suggests the company is spending against a large backlog rather than chasing uncertain demand.

For investors, the call supports the idea that Oracle could become a bigger AI infrastructure winner. The next test will be whether that backlog turns into stronger cloud revenue and margin expansion.
