# [Xi-Trump Meeting] Xi Jinping and Donald Trump visited the Temple of Heaven, Elon Musk and Jensen Huang stated that the talks went very smoothly

"Beijing correspondent Huang Yanming of Economic Information Daily reports on the 14th" President Xi Jinping held talks with U.S. President Donald Trump this morning and then visited the Temple of Heaven together. Xi Jinping welcomed Trump at the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests; the two heads of state took a group photo at the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and toured the Hall together.

A reporter from the U.S. New York Post posted on social media that the White House press corps saw Tesla CEO Elon Musk, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, and Apple CEO Tim Cook outside the Great Hall of the People. When asked about the talks, Musk said they went "very smoothly" and mentioned that "many good things are happening." Cook first gave a "thumbs up" to the camera and then raised his thumb. Huang said, "The talks went very smoothly," and noted that both heads of state were "fantastic."

The "Xi-Trump meeting" lasted more than 2 hours and 15 minutes. During the talks, Xi Jinping met with American entrepreneurs accompanying Trump on his visit to China. The American entrepreneurs expressed that they highly value the Chinese market and hope to deepen their business in China and strengthen cooperation with China. Xi Jinping stated that China's door to openness will only open wider, and China welcomes the U.S. to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with China, believing that American companies will have broader prospects in China
