Transport International Holdings Limited ( (HK:0062) ) has shared an announcement.

Transport International Holdings Limited, the Hong Kong-listed parent of Kowloon Motor Bus and Long Win Bus, announced a leadership transition at the conclusion of its 14 May 2026 annual general meeting. Long-serving chairman and independent non-executive director Dr. Norman Leung Nai Pang will retire after more than two decades on the board, with the company noting there is no disagreement with the board or issues requiring shareholder attention.

He will be succeeded by Mr. Ma Siu Cheung, currently non-executive director and deputy chairman, who becomes chairman of Transport International, Kowloon Motor Bus and Long Win Bus, as well as chairman of the group’s Standing Committee. Mr. Ma brings extensive experience from senior roles in major Hong Kong corporates, government service and engineering bodies, and his appointment is intended to strengthen the group’s strategic direction by leveraging his transport planning expertise, infrastructure background and government relations.

The company detailed Mr. Ma’s annual remuneration as chairman and Standing Committee chairman, as previously approved by shareholders, and confirmed he holds no significant share interest or related-party relationships under Hong Kong securities regulations. The board highlighted his prior appointment as director (Projects) at Kowloon Motor Bus in August 2025, positioning him to drive future development of the group’s public transport operations in Hong Kong without indicating any governance concerns around the succession process.
