# STOCKS | Hong Kong Semiconductor Sector Rises in Early Trading

The semiconductor sector in Hong Kong saw an increase in early trading. According to Jin10, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (00981.HK) rose over 5%, while National Technology (02701.HK) increased by more than 3%. Additionally, Hua Hong Semiconductor (01347.HK) and Montage Technology (06809.HK) both gained over 2%, and GigaDevice Semiconductor (03986.HK) rose by more than 1%.
