# HSBC halts $4B allocation to internal private credit funds, FT reports

-   HSBC (HSBC) has not transferred its previously announced figure of $4B into its own private credit funds and has no current plans to do so, the _Financial Times_ reported, citing two sources familiar with the decision-making process.
-   Executives had grown wary of the investment amid wobbles in the U.S. private credit market, the report said.
