This division is primarily responsible for operating KFC and Pizza Hut fast-food chains in the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan regions. According to a report by Reuters this week, citing two insiders, other bidders include Taiwanese food giant **Uni-President Enterprises Corporation** (1216.TW) and several private equity firms. Sources indicate that this Hong Kong-based business division is valued at approximately $400 million and currently operates around 1,000 KFC and Pizza Hut outlets in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, as well as Vietnam and Myanmar. The report states that the business has an annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of about $35 million to $40 million and reveals that non-binding bids will close this week.
