# Cigna Earns Buy Rating on Strong Free Cash Flow, Deleveraged Balance Sheet, and Double-Digit EPS Growth Outlook

J.P. Morgan analyst Lisa Gill has maintained their bullish stance on CI stock, giving a Buy rating on May 13.

Lisa Gill has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that highlight Cigna’s strong and flexible capital position. The company generates substantial free cash flow, which not only supports internal growth initiatives, but also enables consistent capital returns to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases while Evernorth transitions to a rebate‑free PBM model.

Cigna has rapidly reduced leverage following the Express Scripts acquisition and now operates near its long‑term debt‑to‑capital target, supported by solid investment‑grade ratings. Management’s plan to allocate future cash flows in a balanced manner, emphasizing steady dividend growth, ongoing buybacks, and disciplined, accretive M&A, underpins a robust outlook for double‑digit adjusted EPS growth, making the stock attractive at current levels.

In another report released on May 13, Bank of America Securities also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $378.00 price target.
