## **Senate Vote Clears a Path for XRP**

The Senate Banking Committee voted 15-9 on Thursday to move the CLARITY Act toward a final vote. This law officially labels XRP as a commodity, which takes away the legal fear that kept big banks from using the technology for years.

XRP currently trades at $1.46, and many analysts believe this is just the beginning of its growth as a global payment tool. Since the bill passed this committee stage, billions of dollars are flowing into XRP funds as major institutions like Strategy and other big firms look for safe digital assets.
