China Travel International Investment Hong Kong ( (HK:0308) ) has provided an announcement.

China Travel International Investment Hong Kong Limited has expanded its cultural and tourism portfolio by acquiring Jilin Songhua Lake International Resorts Company Limited and China Travel (Beijing) Bingxue Sports Development Co., Ltd., which together drew about 1 million visitors during the 2025/26 winter peak season. These assets, supported by the group’s marketing efforts, increased visitor numbers by roughly 9% year on year and generated approximately RMB170 million in revenue and RMB57 million in operating profit in the first four months of this year, based on unaudited data.

In March 2026, the group also formed a joint venture with local partners to develop the Heidushan Scenic Spot in Qinghai Province, committing RMB102 million for a 51% stake in a project positioned as a “geological wonders plus deep space exploration” experience. The initiative, which already attracted over 20,000 visitors during the May Day Golden Week, strengthens the company’s strategic layout in Northwest China and aims to enhance its share of the regional tourism loop, with new projects scheduled to come into operation in 2028, though management cautions that disclosed figures are preliminary and unaudited.
