According to a post shared by the Tesla AI team, the new FSD v14.3.3 update is now making its way to customer vehicles, also bringing with it features in the Spring Update. That includes things like the new Self-Driving app, Grok wake word, Pet Mode updates, and more. But when it comes to FSD itself, one of the biggest improvements is a noticeable boost in Actually Smart Summon performance. According to the release notes, the update raises the top speed of ASS from 6 mph to 8 mph (9 km/h to 13 km/h), allowing vehicles to move more quickly through parking lots and private roads when autonomously driving to their owner. While the increase may not sound significant, the feature is now 33% faster than before and the higher speed should help make the feature feel more natural and less overly cautious during real-world use. Early versions of Smart Summon were often criticized for awkward routing decisions, overly slow speeds, and inconsistent behaviour in crowded parking lots. Tesla has now refined the feature, particularly with the prior v13.3.2 release to unify the stack with the Robotaxi code, showing major improvements in start-up time, obstacle avoidance, path planning, and confidence. Another upgrade is a new statistics feature within Tesla’s Self-Driving App. Owners can now see the total distance traveled in FSD without an intervention, giving drivers a clearer look at how often the system can operate without requiring human input. In addition, Tesla is now tracking and displaying a driver’s “longest intervention-free streak,” pointing to another attempt to gamify autonomous driving performance for owners testing the latest software. One other minor improvement in FSD v14.3.3 is an update to the intervention pop-up. The options have been streamlined to includes a new “Parking” option, alongside ‘Navigation,’ ‘Critical,” and ‘Other.’ Previously the options were ‘Navigation,’ ‘Preference,’ ‘Discomfort,’ or ‘Critical.’ Like all FSD rollouts, v14.3.3 will be gradual, meaning not all FSD customers will receive the update immediately. It has however appeared for both Canadian and U.S. owners. ### Related Stocks - [TSL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TSL.US.md) - [TESL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TESL.US.md) - [TSLT.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TSLT.US.md) - [TSLR.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TSLR.US.md) - [TSLL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TSLL.US.md) - [TSLG.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TSLG.US.md) - [TSLA.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TSLA.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Tesla now forces drivers to give feedback when intervening on ‘Full Self-Driving’](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286479354.md) - [Tesla has a possible fix for chaotic charging lines](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286133106.md) - [Tesla increases Actually Smart Summon speed by 33% in new FSD update](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286678100.md) - [Tesla moves Basic Autopilot features to paid FSD where available](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286136799.md) - [Tesla’s Chief Financial Officer Sells Company Stock](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286785119.md)
