The investment bank's equity team included Amazon (AMZN.US), AppLovin (APP.US), Credo Technology (CRDO.US), McDonald's (MCD.US), RadNet (RDNT.US), Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO.US), and UL Solutions (ULS.US) in the list. Additionally, the recently added stocks include American Healthcare REIT (AHR.US) and Ovintiv (OVV.US). Meanwhile, AIG (AIG.US), Broadcom (AVGO.US), First Capital (COF.US), Expand Energy (EXE.US), GFL Environmental (GFL.US), Nike (NKE.US), and Snowflake (SNOW.US) were removed from the list. The newly added stocks mainly focus on leaders in AI computing infrastructure, digital advertising, healthcare demand, and core consumer value-for-money. Jefferies pointed out that as computing power gradually comes online and AI partnerships boost long-term revenue visibility, Amazon's AWS business is in the early stages of re-acceleration. AppLovin is seen as a leading platform in mobile game advertising, with its direct e-commerce business also continuously growing. The inclusion of Credo Technology is based on the market's expectation that the penetration rate of Active Electrical Cables (AEC) is still in its early stages, which is expected to support its continued growth through 2028 and beyond. Regarding McDonald's, Jefferies expects its revamped "McValue" value platform to support same-store sales growth and market share increase, even though short-term expectations are relatively muted. RadNet benefits from the growing demand for PET, MRI, and CT scans, and Jefferies is optimistic about the demand for its outpatient imaging services. Thermo Fisher Scientific is expected to see an improvement in growth in the biopharmaceutical industry in the second half of 2026, leading to a profit inflection point. As a leader in the global Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry, UL Solutions was included due to its pricing power, macro resilience, and potential AI-related testing demand. Jefferies believes that the company's fiscal year 2026 performance guidance may be conservative.
