# NAHB housing market Index for May 37 versus 34 estimate

-   NAHB housing index rises 3 to 37 vs 34 estimate
-   Sales conditions rose by +3 to 40
-   Buyer Traffic was also up +3 to 25
-   Sales expectations rose +3 to 45.

Levels below the 50 level are still considered contractionary despite the gains on the month and values better than expectations.
