# State Department OKs possible sale of AH-64E Apache upgrade program to South Korea

LOS ANGELES, May 18 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department on Monday said it had approved a possible sale of AH-64E Apache upgrade program to South Korea for an estimated $1.2 billion.

The principal contractor will be Boeing ( BA ), the State Department said. (Reporting by Christian Martinez)
