# Google and Blackstone Jointly Establish a New AI Cloud Company

According to informed sources, Alphabet, Google's parent company, and Blackstone plan to jointly establish an artificial intelligence cloud computing company, leveraging Google's self-developed dedicated chips to compete with peers like Cohere. The sources stated that the two parties intend to establish this yet-to-be-named new company in the United States, with Blackstone investing $5 billion as capital and holding a majority stake. The cooperation agreement is set to be officially announced later on Monday. This collaboration represents Google's largest effort to date in selling its self-developed chips and achieving commercialization, further intensifying its industry competition with leading companies in the A computing sector, such as NVIDIA. The new enterprise plans to establish a computing capacity of 500 megawatts by 2027, which can basically meet the electricity demand of a medium-sized city, and will continue to significantly expand its computing capacity thereafter
