# Hitachi Announces Strategic Partnership With Anthropic

Hitachi is teaming up with Anthropic to strengthen its information-technology services in sectors such as energy, transportation, manufacturing and finance.

The Japanese industrial and IT services company said Tuesday that a strategic partnership would combine its deep domain knowledge with Anthropic's artificial-intelligence capabilities.

Hitachi said the companies aim to improve system engineering, operations and cybersecurity for the critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, transportation, manufacturing and finance.

The Japanese company also said that it would deploy advanced AI, including Anthropic's Claude models, across all business processes to drive transformation within its own organizations.
