# Peter Brandt Predicts Bitcoin Bottoming Ahead of Next Halving

Peter Brandt has suggested that Bitcoin might begin to bottom out as early as October. According to NS3.AI, this prediction comes as the next Bitcoin mining reward halving is now fewer than 100,000 blocks away. The halving event, which is expected to occur around April 12, 2028, will see the mining reward decrease by 50%, from 3.125 BTC to 1.5625 BTC.
