# Former Syz Executives launch new Investment Firm

According to the son of the founder of Bank Syz, «differing views with the board of directors regarding future strategy» led to the split. **Marc Syz** stated that he and **Richard Byworth** intend to “do something new again in the field of alternative investments», as reported by finews.ch last November. He said he could not provide further details at this time.

It is now clear what lies ahead for the two former Syz executives. «We want to build a partnership that promotes long-term thinking and consistently aligns the interests of the team and investors,” says Richard Byworth, co-founder and managing partner, according to a press release. «For our investors, capital stability and sustainable growth are top priorities. Our approach combines systematic strategies in liquid markets with direct entrepreneurial investments», explains Marc Syz, co-founder and managing partner.

As its first product, BYZ Partners plans to launch a Bitcoin-denominated investment strategy for institutional investors. Additional products under the «Growth» and «Stability» pillars are currently in development.

**Approval is still pending**

The company targets professional investors, including single- and multi-family offices, high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and institutional investors. BYZ Partners AG is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, and, according to its own statements, is «in the process of obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals».
