# Polymarket Launches Prediction Markets Tied to Private Companies

Polymarket is launching prediction markets tied to private company performance and milestones.

The prediction markets provider has an exclusive agreement with Nasdaq Private Market, which offers liquidity and investment infrastructure for the private market and will serve as the resolution data provider.

The new offering will give individuals a way to engage with verifiable private company events, such as valuation milestones, IPO timing and secondary market activity. Polymarket's prediction markets allows users to put money on whether they think an event will happen.

The partnership will pair Polymarket's prediction market infrastructure with Nasdaq Private Market's data on primary and secondary market activity.

The first private company prediction markets launch Tuesday on Polymarket, with additional markets set to roll out on an ongoing basis.
