# Prometheum Launches Ethereum Trading Service After $100M Fundraising

Prometheum has initiated its first cryptocurrency trades, marking a significant milestone nearly a decade after its establishment and following a fundraising effort of nearly $100 million. According to NS3.AI, the trading service commenced last week and is currently exclusive to Ethereum. Founder and co-CEO Aaron Kaplan expressed the firm's intention to expand its offerings by incorporating additional digital assets soon.
