The Straits Times Index (STI) closed at 5,072.340, up 1.51%, on Tuesday, 19 May, at 5:21 p.m.

City Developments Ltd was the most active stock, followed by Thai Beverage Public Company (+4.49%) and Capitaland Investment Limited (+3.08%).

Wilmar International and Keppel Ltd were at the foot.
