# AMC Entertainment Shares Rise 5% After CEO Adam Aron Acquires 250,000 Shares

06:09 AM EDT, 05/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AMC Entertainment ( AMC ) said Tuesday Chairman and Chief Executive Adam Aron purchased 250,000 shares of its common stock at an average price of roughly $1.38 per share.

The acquisition increases his total ownership to over 2.4 million shares, the company said.

Shares of the company were up 5% in Wednesday premarket activity.
