# Guardant Health Says US FDA Approved Liquid Biopsy Test

08:44 AM EDT, 05/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Guardant Health ( GH ) said Wednesday that the US Food and Drug Administration has approved its Guardant360 Liquid CDx, a liquid biopsy test, as a companion diagnostic for multiple therapies in non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer.

The company said that the Guardant360 Liquid CDx integrates genomic and epigenomic profiling from a single blood draw and provides higher sensitivity to detect circulating tumor DNA.

Guardant360 Liquid CDx can assess a 100-times wider genomic footprint than the previously approved Guardant360 CDx, the company said.

Guardant added that the updated test can deliver results within seven days.

Shares of the company were up over 5% in Wednesday's premarket activity.
