# US Stocks at Open: Nasdaq Up 0.5%, Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Up 2.2%

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3%, and the S&P 500 Index gained 0.3%. Semiconductor stocks generally rose, with Micron Tech up about 5%, Intel up about 7%, and NVIDIA up about 1%. Some Chinese concept stocks declined, with Bilibili down about 4% and KE Holdings down about 4%. Hasbro fell about 6%, and Target dropped about 6%, after both companies previously reported their first-quarter earnings.
