# Utilities Up, but Not by Much, on Cyclical Bias — Utilities Roundup

Shares of power producers rose, but not by as much as the broad market, as traders rotated back into cyclical sectors due to optimism about U.S.-Iran peace negotiations.

Shares of power-plant owners Constellation Energy, NRG Energy and Vistra rallied after reports that PJM, the largest U.S. grid operator, was speeding up plans to connect data centers with power producers. PJM said in a letter late Tuesday that it was moving up the date for data-center capacity procurement to this September from September 2027.
