# CITIC Construction Investment: The Hang Seng Technology is currently in a value reassessment window after a deep adjustment

On May 21st, in the early trading session, the Hang Seng TECH Index opened strong, with XPeng Inc. rising over 5%. Sunny Optical Technology, Meituan-W, Lenovo Group, SMIC, and Li Auto-W also saw significant gains. As of 9:43, the Hang Seng TECH ETF ChinaAMC (513180) had a trading volume exceeding 700 million yuan, ranking first in its category.

CITIC Securities pointed out that the Hang Seng TECH Index is currently in a value reassessment window after a deep adjustment, possessing a very high margin of safety and odds. Its core view is that the AI technology cycle will bring potential for valuation reshaping, and systematic recovery requires waiting for the resonance of three catalysts: liquidity turning point, AI commercialization validation, and easing of the competitive landscape.
