According to a report from Economic Information Daily on the 21st, BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen: 000725) announced that the company has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Corning Incorporated. The two parties plan to collaborate in key areas such as substrate packaging, foldable glass, perovskite glass substrates, and optical interconnect applications, jointly exploring technological and market opportunities.

BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. saw its stock price rise to the daily limit in early trading, reporting a price of 4.69 RMB.

BOE stated that the company possesses leading capabilities in display devices, display modules, advanced manufacturing, process development, application innovation, and industrialization, while Corning has significant advantages in glass materials, advanced materials, and solutions for semiconductor applications. The cooperation between the two parties will help establish a long-term stable strategic partnership, jointly enhancing global industrial competitiveness and influence.

Under the boost from this news, the A-share glass substrate concept soared, with W-OLF TECH (Shenzhen: 002962), WG Tech (Shanghai: 603773), and Huaying Technology (Shenzhen: 000536) all hitting the daily limit. Delong Laser (Shanghai: 688170) rose over 14%, Lehman Optoelectronics (Shenzhen: 300162) increased by 12%, and Dier Laser (Shenzhen: 300776) climbed by 11.7%. (ry)
