# Tencent unveils Mavis AI assistant that turns PCs into conversational interfaces

Tencent today unveiled Mavis, an operating system-level AI assistant designed to turn an entire computer into a conversational interface, which is now available on Windows, Mac, and Android platforms. The new AI assistant can organize and analyze documents, intelligently classify and process images, and even troubleshoot operating system issues, according to the company. Tencent said Mavis is capable of performing most tasks currently handled by AI agents on the market.

Tencent said Mavis is integrated with the operating system and file system, allowing it to understand device-level context, coordinate AI models based on tasks, operate mobile applications from the desktop, and monitor mobile-side processes through cloud-based control. \[TechNode reporting\]
