# Foundation Secures $6.4 Million Funding, Launches Passport Prime

Foundation, a hardware wallet manufacturer, has raised $6.4 million in a funding round led by Fulgur Ventures, with participation from Arche Capital. According to Foresight News, this new funding brings Foundation's total fundraising to $16.5 million, though details of the round's structure and post-investment valuation have not been disclosed. On Thursday, the company also announced the official launch of its flagship product, Passport Prime, which combines a Bitcoin hardware wallet, FIDO security key, two-factor storage, secret vault, and 50GB of encrypted storage. Additionally, Foundation has expanded access to its KeyOS developer platform, opening it to developers building secure applications through an SDK for Passport Prime. The company plans to launch a KeyOS app store for users by the end of the second quarter. Cake Wallet is the first external team to build on KeyOS, and Foundation anticipates further integrations in Bitcoin, identity, and AI agent workflows throughout 2026.
