According to Tongbi Finance, the administrative penalty information disclosure form (Lin Jin Jian Xing Chu \[2026\] No. 21, 22) released by the Linxia Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Supervisory Administration on May 22 shows that New China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. Linxia Central Branch was administratively punished by the Linxia Financial Regulatory Bureau for (1) making a one-sided comparison between the insurance product's preset interest rate and the bank deposit interest rate; (2) falsely listing the commissions of bank insurance specialists to extract fees.

Penalty details: Warning and a fine of RMB 250,000
