Tate Sullivan has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors including resilient earnings, solid balance sheet metrics, and shareholder returns. Euroseas delivered first-quarter earnings per share that surpassed both his forecast and market expectations, driven by stronger fleet utilization and lower-than-modeled operating and overhead costs, which also resulted in book value per share exceeding his estimate.

In addition, he highlights the company’s decision to raise its quarterly dividend sooner than anticipated, while still generating enough free cash flow to fund an expanded newbuild program of six containerships that position the fleet for future growth. With the stock trading around his near-term book value estimate and his $90 price target anchored to approximately one times projected book value for late 2027, he regards the current valuation as attractive relative to Euroseas’s earnings power and asset base.

In another report released on May 21, Alliance Global Partners also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $85.00 price target.
