ISDN Holdings Limited ( (SG:I07) ) just unveiled an announcement.

ISDN’s subsidiary IDI Dynamics has unveiled a next-generation high-speed laser marker for semiconductor chip packages targeted at Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test providers. The system delivers up to 2.5 times higher marking speed while occupying 22% less cleanroom floor space, positioning the Group to address growing demand for productivity and space optimisation in semiconductor production.

The new laser marker has already been deployed at six OSAT sites across Asia and was developed using technology from a leading Singapore industrial research institution combined with ISDN’s two decades of semiconductor automation experience. Benchmarking against standard industry configurations shows significantly higher units per hour using representative OSAT strip formats, underlining potential gains in throughput and floor-space efficiency for semiconductor customers.
