# YTO Global Air Logistics Hub - Dongfang Tiandi Port launches its first international cargo route

On May 28th at around 11 a.m., as YTO Airlines flight YG9007 took off from the runway, flying directly to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, the first international cargo route of YTO's Jiaxing Global Air Logistics Hub—Dongfang Tiandi Port—was officially opened, marking the formal activation of the hub's international functions. This also signifies a key step for YTO towards its goal of becoming an integrated international supply chain provider.

At the inaugural flight event, YTO Group Chairman Yu Weijiao stated that Dongfang Tiandi Port has been meticulously planned for over a decade and constructed for more than three years, and it has finally come to fruition today. With the takeoff of the first cargo flight, a brand new "hub era" has begun. YTO will adhere to the principle of "everything centered on market customer experience, creating value for customers; using our products and services to forge customer excellence and superiority," and will develop Dongfang Tiandi Port into a first-class international air logistics hub and a new engine for high-quality regional economic development according to the guidelines of "comprehensive functions, cost efficiency, fast timeliness, good service, strong technology, beautiful environment, and industrial aggregation."

The inaugural flight was operated by YTO Airlines' "Jiaxing" B767 freighter, with plans to operate three flights per week, primarily transporting clothing, shoe materials, computer and mobile phone accessories, automotive parts, and cross-border e-commerce packages from the Yangtze River Delta industrial belt to South Asia, providing stable transport capacity for exports from Yangtze River Delta enterprises to the South Asian market. The return flights will bring seasonal seafood from the Bay of Bengal, further enriching the domestic consumer market and achieving efficient two-way circulation.

By the end of this year, Dongfang Tiandi Port is expected to open more than ten international routes connecting important cargo hubs in Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe, initially realizing a route layout that "radiates Asia and reaches Europe and America," building a convenient air passage for regional foreign trade.

As the core carrier of this international cargo inaugural flight, the hub capability of Dongfang Tiandi Port is accelerating its release. This specialized air logistics hub supports the national strategic positioning of a center—Jiaxing Air Transport Center, and three hubs—National Logistics Hub, Specialized Air Logistics Hub, and Global Express Delivery Hub. The total investment in the project is 12.2 billion yuan, covering an area of approximately 1,500 acres, and includes seven functional areas such as air cargo stations, smart warehousing, comprehensive bonded areas, multimodal transport centers, and aircraft maintenance, integrating air, rail, sea, and road multimodal transport systems to create a comprehensive international air logistics hub with full-type coverage, full-link connectivity, and full-ecosystem integration.

The opening and utilization of Dongfang Tiandi Port will further amplify the location advantages of Jiaxing in the Yangtze River Delta. The hub quickly connects to the Zhajiang-Su and airport cargo routes, linking surrounding sea and air hubs such as Pudong Airport, Xiaoshan Airport, and Zhapu Port, and through multimodal transport connectivity, establishes a 90-minute coverage of major cargo sources in the Yangtze River Delta, a 1.5-hour linkage to the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Suzhou-Ningbo metropolitan area, and a 3-hour air circle covering major industrial belts and populations nationwide, solidifying the foundation for supply chain distribution and support Based on the national high-level opening-up situation, closely aligning with the new development pattern of "dual circulation" and the requirements of the Yangtze River Delta integration development strategy, Dongfang Tiandi Port will deeply integrate the industrial chain and supply chain, promote production through the port, drive the landing of trillion-level upstream and downstream industrial clusters such as biomedicine and chips, and promote the growth of the air economy.

In the future, YTO Dongfang Tiandi Port will be built into a new hub, new channel, new gateway, and new high ground for global trade and logistics, serving the domestic and international dual circulation, and steadily promoting the overseas expansion of Chinese industries and the level of opening up
