# Nokia Unveils Its First 'Chat Phone', Targeting Students and Elders

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) has launched its Nokia 200 4G phone, aimed at students and elder users with a price tag of 199 RMB. Featuring a 2.4-inch display, dual-SIM capabilities, and 1450mAh battery, the phone is equipped for video calls and app-based messaging. The company announced the design aims to curb smartphone addiction among teenagers.

Stock performance, however, shows signs of retreat. After hitting its 52-week high of $16.63, Nokia ADRs declined for two consecutive days, closing at $15.28—a drop of 2.55%, even as the Nasdaq rose 0.91%. This correction reflects growing sentiment about valuation pressures amid uncertainties over AI-driven strategies.

While Nokia remains up 150% year-to-date, its investments in AI and network infrastructure continue to draw market attention. Collaborations such as optical LAN projects with Lightera and recent FCC approvals for broadband devices are spotlighted as key drivers. Analysts warn about possible overshooting valuation metrics, pegging critical resistance near $16.
