# On the Eve of ComputeX, NVIDIA Posts a "Teaser": Mysterious PC Chip Imminent

On the eve of the ComputeX conference, NVIDIA released a cryptic social media post, reinforcing external expectations that the company is about to launch a Windows PC chip, suggesting a new challenge to Intel and AMD may be imminent.

On Friday local time, NVIDIA posted a message on social media reading "A New Era for PC," accompanied by two sets of numbers—**analysis indicates these are the geographic coordinates of the Taipei Performing Arts Center, where NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will deliver his keynote speech next Monday. The speech is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday,** corresponding to 11:00 p.m. Sunday Eastern Time.

Meanwhile, the official Microsoft Windows account and the official Arm account subsequently reposted the same content, with this three-party collaboration further confirming market expectations for the aforementioned launch event.

This signal has a direct impact on the landscape of the PC industry. If NVIDIA officially launches consumer-grade PC chips, it will introduce a new Arm architecture option to the Windows PC camp beyond Qualcomm's Snapdragon X series chips, directly challenging the established positions of Intel and AMD in the personal computer processor market.

## Windows PC Camp Accelerates Migration to Arm Architecture

This anticipated announcement is part of the broader transformation of the Windows PC industry. Microsoft and Qualcomm have been working together to shift PC chips from the traditional architectures of Intel and AMD to the Arm technology route, with laptops powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X series chips currently available on the market.

These companies, along with PC manufacturers such as Dell, HP, and Samsung, hope to replicate Apple's successful path. After replacing Intel chips with its self-developed Arm-based Apple Silicon M series chips, Mac computers gained significant advantages in performance and battery life compared to products in the same price range, and the Windows camp is eager to close this gap.

Currently, NVIDIA sells the DGX Spark desktop workstation to AI engineers for $4,699, positioning it as a high-end professional product. If the star of this launch event is a PC chip aimed at mainstream consumers, it would represent a significant extension of NVIDIA's pricing strategy to a broader user base, and would also place it in more direct competition with Qualcomm in the personal computer market.

NVIDIA has yet to officially confirm or deny these speculations. The market will find out the answer next Monday morning.
