# EASTROC Chairman Increases Stake by 49,800 H Shares Involving RMB6.46M+

EASTROC (09980.HK) +6.600 (+4.989%) Short selling $79.94M; Ratio 39.261% announced that on May 29, the company received notification that its controlling shareholder, Chairman, Executive Director and President Lin Muqin made his first increase in the company's H shares, involving 49,800 H shares, representing 0.0069% of the total H share capital, with a total consideration of HKD6.4638 million.

Lin Muqin plans to increase his holdings of the company's H shares with his own funds in the amount of HKD100-200 million from May 29, 2026 to May 28, 2027. The proposed increase in shareholding (as a percentage of total share capital) will not exceed 2% of the company's total share capital. 

He has undertaken not to reduce his shareholding in the company during the implementation period of the increase plan and within the statutory period after completion.
