# Major Bank Rating: JP Morgan raises CALB target price to HKD 40 and reiterates overweight

On May 30th, JP Morgan released a research report, upgrading the rating of CALB (03931.HK) to "Overweight," with the target price raised from HKD 36 to HKD 40.

The report indicates that CALB is expected to achieve strong growth in shipments by 2026, with management guiding for an annual shipment volume of 180 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 55%, and in an optimistic scenario, it could reach 190-200 GWh. As new capacity is gradually released starting from the third quarter of 2026, the shipment growth rate in 2027 is expected to further exceed that of 2026. Based on the trend of the company's market share increase and the logic of benefiting from high-endization, JP Morgan maintains a positive long-term outlook on the company
